Section 1: Users

The first step for setting up your foreAction domain is defining users and their associated roles. For now it is only necessary to add user accounts that are needed for the initial setup of foreAction. Administrators may add additional user accounts anytime.

Basic - These users can only view and manage unassigned cases or cases that are assigned to them. They cannot be assigned to confidential cases.

Staff - These users can view and manage all cases, including confidential cases and cases assigned to other staff members.

Office Admin - These users manage the entire case office and system behaviour using management tools that only they are able to access. In addition, they can view and manage all cases.

Section 2a: Case Categories

With foreAction, reported issues are organized using case categories. You have complete flexibility over how your municipality would like this to be done. However, in general, top level categories reflect the department that an issue belongs to and sub categories represent specific issue types within those categories. Included below are some suggested case categories that you may choose to get started. These are included for a reference only, and may be changed at any time. Administrators will be taught how to make these changes during their training session.

Any selected case categories from the previous step will be listed here, along with some suggested sub-categories based on our prior experience with other customers. You may add, subtract, or change these sub-categories as necessary to align with your organization's specific needs.

Section 4: Optional Web Form

If you have purchased the optional web form, we will customize your web form to match your existing website’s look and feel.
